What can I do?
As an Emergency First Response Instructor, you can conduct Emergency First Response Primary (CPR) and Secondary Care (first aid) courses and the Care for Children course.
What do I need to start?
- Current CPR/First Aid Instructor certification from another certification organization
- Current Emergency First Response certification
What will I do?
You'll learn how to conduct the Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Emergency First Response Secondary Care (first aid) courses. You'll learn to conduct the recommended Automated External Defibrillator (AED), emergency oxygen and conscious choking management skills. You'll also learn how to teach students to handle choking infants and children, as well as perform CPR and first aid on both infants and children.
How long will it take?
The Emergency First Response Instructor Course takes approximately twelve hours (depending on group size).
What will it cost?
- $300 plus course materials and application fee for Emergency First Response Instructor (Includes Care for Children Instructor). For Private classes, $375 plus application fee for Emergency First Response Instructor (Includes Care for Children Instructor).
- Our EFR program includes your PADI Oxygen Provider Instructor rating (must be a PADI O2 provider and application fee is not included).
